Clayton “Kelly” Hurst was born in Westlake Village, CA. and moved to Las Vegas in 1991 with his single mother and younger brother by the prospect of a better economic future.

Kelly attended Becker Middle School and Cimarron-Memorial High School. After graduating high school he decided to return to California to attend the California State University Channel Islands’ Martin V. Smith Business program where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business and a minor in Economics.

While enrolled in college Kelly had a major role in launching and operating a small business with his father in the fencing business. He worked with his father in estimating and forecasting job costs, building short and long term budgets and accounting for all business operations.

After graduating Kelly decided to return to Las Vegas and start a new life, he got married to his beautiful wife Noel and now has three children, Sawyer (4 years), Indi (2 years) and Hudson (6 months).

In 2010, Kelly launched his own company Smoketree Management, LLC which has been very successful in helping clean up the housing market in Las Vegas by buying run down single family homes, refurbishing the properties, and providing a clean safe home for families in Nevada while trying to protect home values of the neighborhoods.

His passion for politics was ignited during the financial crisis of 2008. Since then he has spent countless hours researching conservative ideals and positions, learning more about Free Market Capitalism and getting up to speed on Nevadan current events, needs and necessities for economic prosperity.
